Graph Your Success
It will greatly help you track your progress and allow you to look back at how far
you have come by using a graph for each symptom you are rating each day.
Get some graph paper. Use the number 10 as a high number and 0 as the lowest
point.
The day before you start the pre-taper write a side effect you have on the top of one
graph. Now, decide how that side effect is on a 1 to 10 scale. Use the number 10 as
unbearable and a lower number if the side effect is mild.
During the pre-taper and taper update the graph/s each day with the severity of the
side effect.
You are looking for the line on the graph to move lower. This may or may not
happen overnight but with a graph like this you can easily see your progress.
This enables you to look back a few weeks or months down the road and see how
far you have actually come. I really urge you to graph your progress.
