Trintellix Vortioxetine Side Effects

Nausea: Nausea is a common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 21% of patients. It may be mild or severe and may be accompanied by vomiting, loss of appetite, or stomach discomfort.

Diarrhea: Diarrhea is another common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 8% of patients. It may be mild or severe and may be accompanied by stomach cramps, bloating, or dehydration.

Dizziness: Dizziness is a common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 7% of patients. It may be mild or severe and may be accompanied by lightheadedness, vertigo, or fainting.

Dry mouth: Dry mouth is a common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 7% of patients. It may be mild or severe and may be accompanied by a dry, sticky feeling in the mouth, difficulty swallowing, or bad breath.

Hyponatremia: Hyponatremia is a rare but potentially serious side effect of Trintellix, occurring in less than 1% of patients. It may be accompanied by headache, confusion, seizures, and even coma in severe cases.

Bleeding events: Bleeding events are a rare but potentially serious side effect of Trintellix, occurring in less than 1% of patients. They may include unusual bleeding or bruising, nosebleeds, or blood in the stool or urine.

Chills: Chills are a less common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 1% of patients. They may be accompanied by fever, shivering, or muscle aches.

Depersonalization: Depersonalization is a less common but potentially serious side effect of Trintellix, occurring in less than 1% of patients. It may be accompanied by a sense of detachment from oneself or one's surroundings, feelings of unreality, or altered perception of time.

Euphoria: Euphoria is a less common but potentially serious side effect of Trintellix, occurring in less than 1% of patients. It may be accompanied by feelings of extreme happiness, elation, or excitement.

Excessive thirst: Excessive thirst is a less common side effect of Trintellix, occurring in up to 1% of patients. It may be accompanied by dry mouth, dehydration, or frequent urination.
